Providing clients worldwide with the digital video products they need, we get a lot of questions about those products. Your projects cover a lot of ground and we are happy to help with what we know. Visible Light is not an order mill with thousands of SKUs. We know what we sell.

Sometimes you need specific expert assistance with a project. Hardware compatibility can be hard to achieve. Video capture and presentation is very diverse. How you capture, encode and deliver can make or break success. Visible Light may be able to help you with implementation or help advise you when things go wrong.

Our favorite project was for the Hard Rock Vault Museum in Orlando. Many historic video and audio clips were shown on perhaps fifty screens during a walk through time, from the 50s to the 90s. But nothing more spectacular than the Sound Asylum Room with its three large video screens and six-channel audio. Everything had to be synchronized. It took Visible Light to do an encoding job that matched the intricacies of the playback hardware. See the case study.

Visible Light can provide encoding services tuned to the hardware. We use the Cinema Craft Encoder SP3 for offline encoding of MPEG2 assets. Cinema Craft Encoder SP3 has the same CCX engine used to encode many Hollywood DVD titles.

There are now a wide range of mobile devices and streaming video formats. How will you support each? This new complexity can make your project more difficult to implement. Now it is necessary to encode for multiple platforms. Visible Light can capture and encode your master video for the formats you want to support.

Steve Perlman has been doing compression since 1995, when MPEG1 encoders cost $16,000 and an MPEG2 encoder was $100,000 and had 17 encoder chips! As Orlando's top MPEG compressionist, Steve is an expert at the wheel of the encoder. No job goes out without an inside screening and we are not an encoder mill that just pushes a job through. We may charge a bit more than mister cheapo encoderman, but sometimes adjustments do take time. You want that!

Working with Visible Light Digital for DVD video encoding is easy. Just provide us with your master movie file in a supported AVI, Quicktime or Quicktime-reference format. If you have it on Beta SP, we support that also. For clients with Digibeta, we can come onsite to capture your SDI video on our mobile station. When the encode must be synchronized for the desired performance, Visible Light will work onsite with your hardware.
